The purpose of Marilyn Monroe Ministries is to equip and empower those in Christ with Christian principles that will guide and propel the body of Christ to engage in effective ministry. Ministry that demonstrates the transformative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the world.
Reverend
Dr. Marilyn Monroe Harris, D.Min.
Reverend Harris is the fifth Pastor and the first female Pastor of First Baptist Church of Teaneck in Teaneck, New Jersey. She was licensed to preach in 1995 by Mount Olive Baptist Church in Hackensack, New Jersey under the pastorate of the Reverend Gregory J. Jackson, Senior Pastor and ordained to the gospel ministry in 2000 by Bethany Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey under the pastorate of the Reverend Dr. M. William Howard, Jr.

OUR TEAM
In December 2010 Dr. Harris founded Clergy Women’s Alliance (CWA). As the ministry continued to grow and with her expanding ministerial obligations Dr. Harris spoke about discontinuing or reducing the frequency of CWA. In response to this news several attendees implored Dr. Harris to continue.
Therefore, Reverend Diethra Postle and Reverend Robin Pinckney took up the mantle of working with Dr. Harris and ensuring the continuation of CWA workshops and annual conference. As the ministry continues to flourish Evangelist Yohanna Hoehler has come along side to assist in the ministry’s media presence. Together the team has become an extension of God’s love for God’s people.
